Stick Skills DVD and Workbook: Learn 1-12!!!
This DVD and e-workbook is offered at a discounted rate to those signing up for the clinic. It contains stick work drills that will make you a better player. These drills will not be taught in the clinic. They are homework! You will receive the DVD in the mail. You should learn them before you come to the clinic. They may or may not be used by your coach during the season. For more information on “Your Stick Work will save you!” click here.
Commitment:
If you sign up for this clinic, and you do not feel you are getting what you were looking for, the solution is to talk to me and tell me what it is you hope to have me cover. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the progression of the rest of the participants, I will do all I can to help you learn what it is that we both think is important to elevate your game before the start of the spring season. In return for that level of commitment from me, and for maximizing the learning for everybody involved, I ask for a level of commitment from you.
Due to the very limited space and the progressive nature of the clinic, commitment to participation is strongly advised. Attendance will be noted. 100% attendance is recommended in order to get maximum benefit. 75% attendance is necessary, as less will result in my having to cover the same concepts repeatedly. Reduced numbers of participants hold up the rest of the group. Players need to show up on time, listen, work hard, and apply what is taught.
Players must bring to every practice:
Water
Mouth guard
Face guard
A ball and a stick
Appropriate footwear: running shoes plus: cleats or turf shoes
Goalies:
If you want the conditioning and exercise of working with these other players, please feel free to sign up. I can only take 2 goalies. If you are a goalie, I will not have time to teach you anything besides what is occurring in our drills- which could be really beneficial. I would love to have a goalie or 2 around for these drills, but, if you are looking for specific goalie coaching, please, please contact Bob Mezeul at bmezeul@comcast.net. He has an amazing goalie training package of sessions.
E-Waiver:
By clicking below, and signing up for this clinic, and by using your credit card to play for this training seminar, you are agreeing:
- Any player can get hurt at any time doing any drill/clinic. The participant I am signing up has been examined and cleared for try-outs by a physician. They have no other physical limitations that might result in harm should they physically exert themselves.
- To hold harmless, Jen Milus, and any assistant coaches for injuries sustained in participation.
- That should an injury happen, after participation has begun, that a credit for later sessions will be considered. That consideration will be only with a doctor’s note as to the player’s inability to complete.
- That the above outlined attendance commitment is agreed upon.
- That Signing up for the clinic will have resulted in another player not being able to sign up. Dropping during the middle for any reason needs to be accompanied by a doctor’s note. Refund may be in the amount of unused portion minus processing fees.
- Simply sending another player to substitute and take your spot is not acceptable. If I have taught you something, teaching another player the same thing is a use of time that is not fair to the other players. In other words, what should go without saying is: please fulfill your commitment. It will work the best for everyone that way.
