Playing Lacrosse in College

Playing Lacrosse in college is a very admirable goal. But, first things must come first! You need to work really hard for a very long time!

Here are 10 brief, generalized suggestions about how to start. In my opinion, hoping is not a plan!

  1. Learn 1-12 right and left and use it.
  1. Train/practice/play 3 times a week outside of high school season.
  1. Lift weights 2-3 times per week.
  1. Play hard, practice harder. Give 110% all the time.
  1. Commit to being the best you can be, and do whatever it takes to get there.
  1. Choose your club wisely… the best coaches are not always who you think they might be….
  1. Start emailing and contacting the coach of the colleges you might like to go to.
  1. Play another varsity sport… well!
  1. Be a good team player
  1. Eat very well.
